Brisket was sliced thin and tender, flavors were off the chart as well. The staff is really friendly, and the vibe is very laid back. Nothing fancy as far as decorations... but the food is simple but with perfect flavors. Parking can be difficult though.

Han Bat Sul Lung Tang is an og gem in ktown. I've been eating here since I was a kid, and personally the sul lung tang here is my favorite in LA! The kkakdugi and kimchi pair perfectly with the soup. My go to order is the brisket sup lung tang. Servers here are fast and attentive. This is a traditional Korean restaurant with deep roots in ktown. Definitely a must try, especially with the weather getting colder in LA!

soooooo good! this place absolutely lives up to the hype. we got the combo because it was our first time here and the broth was so rich and flavorful. the spring onions was the perfect way to cut the richness of the broth so don't be afraid to put a lot. the kimchi was also one of my favorites. i truly believe i've never had good radish kimchi till this place. although there was a line and it was pretty busy, everyone eats and leaves pretty fast so the wait was not bad at all.

I love places with fewer menu items because it shows they really focus on perfecting each dish. This Korean spot serves one of the tastiest sul lung tang with brisket. The broth is incredibly delicious! You can add spring onions or salt for extra flavor, but I find that just having it with their fresh kimchi is perfect--and the kimchi is amazing! I'm glad my coworker introduced me to this spot. It's even better than the other place I usually go to. Service is fast too! Perfect for quick meals!

Great food, friendly service. Their kimchi is next level. It is a LA institution for a reason. Busy even during warmer seasons and during the week. Food comes out quick too.

This place has the best sullungtang in Ktown and it's a place well known in the ktown community because of it. They sell two things: sullungtang and a meat plate. I usually get the sullungtang and eat the kimchi along with it because the radish kimchi is my favorite from all the korean restaurants. The regular kimchi is pretty good too. I think it's very creamy and light, you add salt, pepper and green onions to your taste. HOWEVER, the reason I gave it 4 stars is because I think there are better spots for price:quality ratio. In the past when it was cheaper (over a decade ago of course) so it was just perfect but nowadays I think it is slightly overpriced. If you don't mind paying close to $25 for a bowl of soup, I would absolutely come here. But if not, I would recommend checking out other spots since sullungtang can be found elsewhere.
